Beautifully crafted basket, perfect for shopping and picnics as the flat bottom ensures the basket stays upright - they fit nicely in to the car’s footwell.  Soft leather handles make them easy to carry.

Made in Northern Ghana, our baskets have been woven by weavers in the region for generations. Each basket is made of sustainably sourced Veta Vera grass grown in central Ghana, then dried and dyed in the north. The grasses are then woven into a basket by a weaver who has complete choice on its final colour and pattern complexity - making each basket one-of-a-kind.  

Veta Vera Grass is harvested from the fields in Ghana. The grass is split, twisted, and dyed in vibrant colours before our skilled weavers begin weaving the prepared grass into baskets.

This involves intricate patterns and techniques passed down through generations. We don't restrict our weavers in colour or pattern so each basket is one-of-a-kind. Once a basket is woven, leather is then added to the handles.
